Hey, that's what Americans wanted Russia to be - to forget all those stupid socialist ideas "for the good of society," and to start thinking in terms of money-making and profits above all.
Their dream came true, but for some strange reason or the other they seem to not to be happy with Russia.
I, too, do not understand these claims. A lot of work is a lot of money. Everything is very simple.
Interesting lecture by A. Miller (Russian historian). It is 2011. The most interesting part is from 30 minutes. 3 parts of the Ukrainian society.
1. Ukrainian-speaking Ukrainians.
2. Russian-speaking Ukrainians.
3. Russian (17% of the population).
And the correct conclusions, which were confirmed in 2014.
This Miller just prove one more time that Muscovites know about Ukraine as little as Chinese or Brazilians, but trying to monopolize "Russians".
But some already getting idea that there are 2 types of Russians (Euro-Russians and Asian Russians) and they fight each other to the death at Donbass Region.

More exactly "Chinese" since masters of those desperate and meaningless mega projects in China and the bridge to the Crimea are the same living somewhere in the North Atlantic countries awashed by the Gulf Stream.
