In Russia everything is fine. Russia wants to improve its agriculture. This requires the sanction.

By the way, you have to think what to do with your products, which was previously demanded of 140 million people.

It's divided by so many countries, so it won't be a hard blow. For Finland the estimated loss is 280 million and Estonia 73 million. It's the Russian customers that suffer, as some of their favourite brands are taken off the shelf.

But, cartel up and you'll have a monopoly on a 140 million market. The oligarchs are already rubbing their hands.

To drink milk, there are apples and to run in WC.

Curious...could Mr. Putin be going soft fighting a war through apples, milk, steak on the hoof etc etc? Really he could just simply shut off the gas and lights and really go to town.

Looks like the EU is starting to feel the impact of the sanctions:

The market correction has arrived... in Germany - Aug. 8, 2014

I wonder how many in the EU think Ukraine is worth their jobs, income, etc.

There is energy in the world, and Russian gas can be replaced. Lights would not go off. Ever heard of electricity reserves?
