At 3:43 A lot of Talibs already changed in the NATO uniform - apparently it's more comfortable to fight in, than in Pushtu robes.
Apparently, there was still plenty of loot in the NATO headquarters, in spite of the earlier destroyed equipment. ( 3:54)
And on top of this nice stash of guns, Talibs received the equipment for the biometrical data, along with the biometrical data of Afghans, that worked for the Westerners. ( Finger prints and other data.)
Talibs promised amnesty to such people, but no one is certain that this promise is going to be kept.
4:25. In general, the way Taliban presents itself, makes an impression that they thought through their campaign. The field commanders are not hiding their faces, they give the interviews out in the open, and at the same time the TV crews of the Western companies are working in the area.
Clarissa Ward from CNN, who accepted the rules of the game for quite some time already, wears the hijab, yet she is not afraid to ask the Talibs the questions.
At 4:50; "You have to cover your face first" responds to her one of the Talibs.
5:02 After covering her face in such manner, that only her eyes can be seen, an American is asking Talib about the object that he holds in his hand, that reminds of a whip.
He doesn't want to answer, but there are videos emerging, where Taliban is beating people up with the similar-looking objects.
5:19 Yet another video emerged today, where the Talibs are beating up a person in handcuffs.
Talibs are leaving this kind of videos without comments.
5:43 The videos that the representatives of the new regime are spreading around on the most popular social networks with propaganda purposes, they are showing themselves repairing the infrastructure and such. Like for example in Jalalabad, where yesterday they dispersed the protesting crowd with the help of the bullets.
5:50 Today they opened fire yet again at the improvised celebration of Afghanistan's Independence from British rule ( back in 1919.)
Taliban does not approve of such celebration, considering it counter-revolutionary to their own victory.
They do not approve of the national flag of Afghanistan; the event should be celebrated only under their own Taliban white banners. ( 6:05)
6:15 The most painful question of course remains - what place in the society will be given to women under the Sharia law.
In spite of the Taliban assurances that women will have opportunity for education within the Islamic framework, but people don't hold their breath.
Number one - many remember the Taliban policies towards women back in the 90ies, and second -
how can you miss these horrible images of the blotched out women's faces on the billboards, that show up more and more. ( 6:29-6:37)
The wedding dresses, the beauty salons - what's going to be sold now there, if at all?
At 7:03 the interview with Afghan student that was attending the University in Russia, and now returned to Afghanistan; "Everything is bad, problems with the internet and so on.."
Taliban is saying that soon they will make their plans public ( about running the country) and that it's going to be "all-inclusive government.
Although they destroyed the statue of the Shia leader of Afghanistan, Talibs didn't interfere with the Shias celebrating their traditional event ( 8:17)
Talibs promised to not to persecute the former government officials as well. ( 8:22,) saying that they will have a chance to "serve new government."
Yet it looks like the amnesty is going to be selective; the news are coming in today, that the head of the security service of Bagdize province was executed. ( 8:33) In this video you see that he is tied up, while they are shooting at him. ( The authenticity of this video is yet to be verified.)
8:47. The resistance is growing in the Northern part of the country; Ahmad Massoud junior is asking the West to help him with the weapons; the Washington Post is publishing the article that he wrote himself.
9:11 Massoud is saying that in spite of the fact that US and Great Britain left Afghans loyal to them, US still can be the "arsenal of Democracy."
Just heard that a general order has been issued that any Mujahedeen fighter found guilty of unnecessary cruelty or killing in circumstances other than defense will be shot.
Just how this will be enforced is anyones guess but at least it's being put out there.

And what "mujahedeen fighters" are we talking about in this case?
Osama bin Laden?
Lol.
And what is "unnecessary cruelty" in this case, ( yet another lol.)
P.S. I see so far definition "Taliban, the terrorist organization prohibited in Russia" stays on Russian main official TV channel.
You have to assume there are going to be some abuses/reprisals by the Taliban and some staged by remnants of special ops commandos that are still in Afghanistan. Think Color Revolutions and use of snipers to kill protestors. We have former president Donald Trump to thank for admitting that the US engages in this tactic often by directly threatening the Iraq government two years ago with staged protests, snipers, withholding of weapons shipments, and support for attacks by ISIS. He threatened to repeat the same tactics used by Obama in 2013.
On DW today they were anointing Massoud junior complete with a halo and wings on his back as he is begging for beans and bullets from America and the west.
I have no doubt there are elements of the opposition going to try something, anything, to obstruct any path to stability and ensure chaos reigns.
The situation at the airport is chaotic, even the Germans are pissed off because the American soldiers will not allow German citizens through their checkpoints.

So far they are not dropping this stance at all.
I think the situation is going to get nasty and it probably won't be because of the Taliban. There's vengeance killings going on. Vendettas being settled. As Ichoro indicated, some people have an interest in seeing chaos in the country.

The situation is very hazardous.
Heard it on Russian news yesterday, that both Bundeswehr and Lufthansa German planes were landing across the border in Dushanbe ( Tadjikistan) (and whatever airfield in Uzbekistan) when needed.
It's safe there, with Russian troops backing up the local authorities.
Will watch some more news now, and will tell what else is taking place out there...
