Remind me again please, why does Ukraine need some contracts with the *aggressor state*?

Because Gazprom is not at war with Ukraine. And Europe still needs their gas and Ukraine is paid to transit it. Its "beezness". I know, Russians see things differently but this isn't my problem.

Another example of double standards and incomprehensible Ukrainian logic.

Russia is the aggressor, but Gazprom is not the aggressor and therefore it owes us gas and free of charge, because it belongs to the aggressor. As they say marasmus grew stronger. I'm sorry, but a war or there is or there isn't one. You can't be a little pregnant. And Germany therefore bent all over Europe with the "Northern streams", as it understands that is already impossible to have any dealing with Ukraine. So that..adios amigos..

Right.
1941, the operation Barbarossa begins, but here comes "Siemens," whose executives are saying "We are not at war with Russia - Hitler is. We were doing business here for the last 100 years, so we stay and continue beezness as usual."

Amazing sense of logic.

No, you definitely have a problem.

Apparently you folks are upset that Gazprom still needs to use Ukrainian pipelines to sell gas to captive customers in central Europe. They can continue to do so but will have to still pay Ukraine to do it. Wail away for all I care...

Ukraine is an unreliable partner when it comes to gas transit. It seems to disappear and the countries down stream don't get what they pay for. At least if I remember right. Ukraine also has trouble paying for the gas they use so that makes them a liability.

With the Nordstream lines and the others being built soo Russia will not need Ukraine at all.

Tough being a bad neighbor isn't it?

There is difficult to deal with northern Al-Qaeda (Russia), which has a crazy leader (Putin) and possesses nuclear weapons that threaten the world.

No problem with gas bills. This is a political point, not economic.

All Ukraine should pray for Putin's health day and night. After all, while there is Putin, America needs Ukraine. And as soon as Putin leaves, America will immediately wipe its feet on Ukraine and throw it into the landfill
