Russia is the aggressor, but Gazprom is not the aggressor and therefore it owes us gas and free of charge, because it belongs to the aggressor. As they say marasmus grew stronger. I'm sorry, but a war or there is or there isn't one. You can't be a little pregnant. Ukraine is an unreliable partner when it comes to gas transit. It seems to disappear and the countries down stream don't get what they pay for. At least if I remember right. Ukraine also has trouble paying for the gas they use so that makes them a liability.
With the Nordstream lines and the others being built soo Russia will not need Ukraine at all.
