So wait... You're saying Wal-Mart isn't lousy?

And, by your standard, McDonald's must have the best burger in the world.

Fortune 500: Walmart Takes the Top Spot | Fortune

So, top retailer in the world by revenue, and tops on the Fortune 500.

But I guess in your own personal list, Walmart's not a big deal. LOL!!!!!!!
Who else is on your list? Sears and JCPenney?
How about Toys R Us?

Success is sales per square foot

If I am on the Publix payroll, thats news to me. I post here because I really like Publix and enjoy shopping there. I shopped at the Gold Standard of Supermarkets, Wegmans, for 30+ years. Its nicer than Publix in a some ways especially bakery, prepared foods and awesome cafes in the stores. For Florida, Publix is the best option IMHO, since Winn Dixie is not inviting, Fresh Market and Luckys are pricey, Walmart is Walmart, Whole Foods has limited locations and high prices and Trader Joes has a limited selection. The Publix employee/shareholders are the nicest and friendliest I have ever encountered. This subject has been beaten to death on here, Publix has its fans and detractors and always will. You can count me as a fan, if that makes me a shill, so be it.

Yeah, that is "extremely relevant" now that we have a big portion of all retail transactions happening online.

I know I'm not a paid shill for PUBLIX lol, I work for a public relations firm based in Russia, and live in Tampa in Culbreath Bayou with my lesbian partner and my two dogs.

Agreed, but many people don't know that competitors and/or potential new 'entrants to NEW markets' hire and pay people all the time to 'float' ideas (negative and positive) about retailing including the grocery business on all kinds of internet websites. They are also hired to foment negative information and all-out lies. Among them have been Target, Walmart, Macy's, Sears-Kmart, Kroger, and quite a few fast-food and fast-casual restaurants (notorious is Chipolte).
