oh!!...hot fries dipped into a cold chocolate shake!!
OMG, this is the best! Haven't done it in a while, but I turned several friends on to this in college. McDonald's and BK shakes, and Wendy's Frosty all work.
Ketchup is good, too. Or loaded, with chili, cheese and onions.
Salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise (the ketchup and mayonnaise mix is actually something that I learned back in high school from my Latino classmates . . . it's really good!). When I'm feeling really adventurous, sometimes chili and cheese. Also, this habanero sauce I buy from a local market goes well with fries.
I love french fries so much I often eat them with nothing. But my favorite topping is cocktail sauce...more of a kick than ketchup. I like barbecue sauce too.
