Here in Arizona we are mountain time, however, when everyone changes the clocks in the spring, our time (while still mountain time) is the same as pacific time. How is THAT for confusing?
The exception is the Navajo Nation in AZ. They change their clocks.

Is definitely confusing, and then the time differences in other time zones and whether daylight savings or not - OMG - would rather not go there now....
We stopped in a town in Indiana many times-but all restaurants were about 2 mi down the road in Michigan-so trying to figure times out-no less Happy Hour-was a challenge.
Until I gathered my bearings I thought the time had change during the pre-dinner nap. Anyway dinner was on the southern side consisting of slow cooked roast beef and gravy over rice, green lima beans, and tomato wedges. Ice tea of course. No dessert but pecan pie makings are going on the list.

The reason I am asking is.....hubby saw that Throwdown with Bobby Flay one night and he was doing it with this guy who makes fried chicken and waffles covered in syrup.
Just recently one of the cable channels showed a chicken and waffle recipe with gravy. I'm not a big waffle fan but it actually looked good. Doesn't hurt to try something new.

I've seen this show a couple of times and am going to have to try chicken and waffles. I think there was a white gravey.
