We're trying to "group" errands too - if I can't get at least two stops out of one trip, I'll most likely wait until I have something to deposit at the bank and then go to the dollar store (they are right next to each other). I've never been as conscientious of the gas I use as I am these days!
We're doing the same thing. We've become very conscientious about all our resources, including time.
Well time sometimes suffers when planning milage. Today DP was taking the dog to the groomer...about 30 mins away.....the appointment is usually around 1 1/2 to 2 hours....so rather than come home and go back he will hang around Old Orchard Beach on a rainy day till the little darlin is beautiful and fluffed and be-ribboned once more! (When she comes home she is so vain!)
We do need to find a closer groomer but we knew this groomer knows Westies and doesnt try to make them look like a schnauzer.
I hear you elston....we use to have 2 beautiful Lhasa Apso's. They were groomed on a weekly basis. Bennie, my little boy Apso always became very romantic towards Penny, my female, after their grooming. Of course Penny always played "hard to get"!! It was so cute to watch! I miss them terribly!
Cyn you are beyond sweet and I wouldn't ever come empty. Hugs.
