Frozen ravioli dinner again??
I keep some frozen breaded chicken breast in the freezer for just these occasions. I cook some pasta like spaghetti, linguine, fettuccini, you get the idea - pour it into a buttered casserole, top with jarred spaghetti sauce (we love the chunky ones with raosted garlic, mushrooms, onions) place the baked breaded chicken breasts on top, sprinkle shredded mozzarella on the top, and bake in the oven until the cheese is bubbling. It's my short-cut chicken parmigiana (sp) and both my kids gobble this up!

I've had some pretty good frozen ravioli. They really aren't bad.

Hey, don't feel badly about the going grocery shopping thing....we're having a "supposed" gas shortage here in NC and since we drive a truck that only gets 16mpg we aren't going much of anyplace! Until things lighten up here as far as gas and the high prices we will be using up some of what we have on hand! At least we have enough here and it won't be a problem. We may be eating a few repeat meals here too!

We're trying to "group" errands too - if I can't get at least two stops out of one trip, I'll most likely wait until I have something to deposit at the bank and then go to the dollar store (they are right next to each other). I've never been as conscientious of the gas I use as I am these days!

We've cut back considerably. Just noticed it dropped .5cent to 3.35.

That's great lacey---but not here! I just heard about a guy charging $7.00 a gallon for regular gas here! You can only find regular IF you can find any gas right now and the prices are well over $4.00 in most places for regular!
