A rainy, drizzly day

Time for the comfort of grilled bacon, cheese, tomato on rye

A warm sunny day here but still, a little comfort food won't hurt....

Thinking o making cheesy, mushroomy, spinachy quesadillas. Maybe a little garlic in the cooking butter

Do tortillas count as pancakes, nearly?

Burgers ready and seasoned-very,very lean beef, whole wheat buns, cheese, mayo, mustard, ketchup. Homemade mac salad and spinach salad. I'm so ready for a burger.

Burdell-add some fries and brown gravy and that's what I call comfort.

Elston-sounds so good and hearty.

Getting ready to heat up the good 'ole spaget' sauce and cook my spaghetti noodles, put some garlic bread together and dinner will be ready! I'm really pleased with this sauce I made a few weeks ago--turned out pretty good if I do say so myself! Thank God for freezers!! This has been a very loooooong day here. Even though I love the rain it has made this particular day very long. I suppose cause hubby doesn't like venturing out in the rain where as I love going out in the rain!! Not to get wet of course but driving and since gas has been an issue we must sit here and that is a tuff one for me! I shall survive! Ha!

Change of plans. Ribs in the fridge for tomorrow. DH had frozen blueberry/pomegranet yogurt, I had a tomato/swiss cheese on 7 gran Italian toast w/ Hellman's low fat mayo. and chardonnay.

Well I finally perfected that chicken recipe.
I dipped the bottom of the chicken in Pastene bread crumbs after I pounded it
other side I did horseradish then smoked ham a half slice reduced fat swiss cheese then about a tablespoon of spinach with the other half piece of swiss over that. Folded it and secured with the toothpicks and baked on 325 for one hour.
I have been trying to get that recipe right since July. Got it now!!!

Told you that's dinner-maybe tomorrow!! Thank you.

Burgers were perfect-Mr L made the med/rare-I'm in heaven. All it takes is a good burger (maybe pizza)-I'm a cheap date.
