Well dinner is a done deal and it was good. Sausage hash, brussels sprouts, pickled beets, iced tea. Chocolate cupcakes in a holding pattern.

Edit: Chocolate cupcakes made a safe landing but are no longer in the great of shape.

Why not eat dessert first? That way there will always be room.

I far prefer the main course to any desert...usually pass on desert inorder to have my fill of the main course.

Room is never a problem at home. They are just a planned extension of dinner. Dessert gives me something to munch on while contemplating the day's events.

My husband made petite sirloin steaks on the indoor grill. I took care of the baked potatoes and steamed the broccoli.

I hardly can write...

For dinner husband had Broiled Salmon with Sauce and of course French fries.
I had French fries topped with soft eggs, sour cream with garlic, grated Gorgonzola cheese, covered with hot polenta I pigged out.

Now I am enjoying a glass of red wine
