Well my baby is ok. A little swollen. He had a vanilla milk shake for breakfast He was really happy about that. I needed an iced coffee so bad. I am sipping it now No worries

Amber the episode of your son and his lip boo boo reminds me of the time my youngest got stung on his upper lip by a wasp. His lip swelled up about five times the norm. That night we had corn on the cob. Well that lip didn't slow him down for a minute. We all laughed when his lip flopped over the cob to reach his bottom lip completely hiding the ear of corn. He never looked up. He went through several ears like he was a machine. How I wish I had thought to have taken a picture of it to show to his kids that are rendering paybacks now. My grandson decided to play superman off the chair. Broke a leg so he has tried other things with similar results. We never know what to expect when our son calls to report in. Thanks for the posted recipes Amber and get some sleep tonight. It will heel as he prepares for his next feat. That's life with kids....

Default What I'm Having Tonight

I've got some Shake-N-Bake pork chops going this evening (boneless, for a change), and there's a side of black-eyed peas, too. I'll also get that Betty Crocker molten chocolate cake from their Warm Delights series for dessert. It will be topped off with a glass of milk. This may be the best job I've ever done with pork chops; they're out of the oven and perfect!

Charley the soup sounds great, will have to keep that one!
The decision was made, we went out to eat. One of the guys at the VFW made chicken cor don blue (sp) with a white wine sauce over it. It was so good and I am not a big chicken person. I did start a beef stew this afternoon just in case but now that will be dinner tomorrow.
