Grilling up some skirt steaks (made some Chimichurri this morning), corn on the cob (I like to leave it in the husk while it cooks on the grill) and steamed broccoli with olive oil, chopped garlic and fresh lemon juice.
Cranberry and walnut melted grilled cheese sandwiches on sour dough bread. Angel hair coleslaw. Roasted Radishes. (thank you Dirt Grinder they are quite good! )
My mother is leaving this evening - it has been a nice (but sort of long) visit and we are ready for a little peace and quiet. Tonight we are having lemon chicken scallopini in a lemon/garlic cream sauce over angel hair pasta; cucumber/avocado/bacon/tomato salad; and strawberries and cream swiss rolls for dessert. I need a G&T!
we made hundreds of beef and pork skewers today with different marinades..... i bought 5 of those ...very good...garlic teriyaki and sweet maple bourbon sauce
also some bone in chuck short/plate ribs slow cooked and finished on the grill in a mix of bbq sauce and a-1 sauce
bud light
corn on the cob microwaved and slathered in butter
