I hope everyone had a great weekend. One of my credit cards had to be cancelled this week during a business trip as someone hijacked my info and was trying to purchase round-trip airline tickets to Sweden! Tonight, I'm keeping it simple:
Honey orange spicy shrimp and fried chicken balls over rice noodles, corn on the cob and raspberry lemonade pie for dessert.
Sorry about your card Praline. It also happens at the worst possible time doesn't it? Although I suppose there is no good time for it to happen. By the way that dinner sounds crazy good. What I wouldn't give for a slice of
raspberry lemonade pie!
Tonight I think I will make a grilled peach, grilled chicken and arugula salad. I think I will make some kind of honey, orange balsamic dressing or something similar to go with it.
It seems summer has arrived for this week. Hot and humid days ahead.
Tonight macaroni salad, red radish salad,tomato/onion salad and garlic breaded roasted chicken legs. To drink ginger and lime with Perrier water. For dessert mango slices.
Enjoyed a meatless, mycoprotein (had never seen or used that word before that I can remember. ) Quorn burger with asparagus. Drank Stone IPA.
Is mycoprotein a "mushroom burger"? Are all Quorn burgers mycoprotein? I've never used that word either. Only read it. Or only some? I enjoy their products. Sounds like a dinner I would eat. And the Stone IPA.
It will be Salmon steaks for us, complete with brussel sprouts, green salad and cous cous. It is simple, quick and healthy, not to mention tastes great.
