The crock pot is out and the meat balls are formed. Now, I just have to brown them a bit, and brown the onions, peppers and mushrooms. Then it is sauce time and the meat balls will go in the sauce; spaghetti sauce here we come. and of course with spaghetti comes a nice simple Italian salad. I love to make it, there is always plenty left to freeze and it cooks while we are out running errands or whatever.

The old standard for when I don't have much time to cook - grilled salmon, roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli, and strawberries.

Son looked in fridge and asked if we were stockpiling food.

So I guess tonight is leftovers.

I am assembling a warm, grilled salmon potato and baby spinach salad, with a creamy, yogurt based dill dressing.

Mr. Sheena is picking up an IPA ( a surprise) and a crusty rustic bread.

I hope he hurries up!
