I actually made this chicken recipe from upthread, with a side of broccoli. Had some mocha almond fudge ice cream for dessert. I needed comfort. It has been a sad autumn, with more deaths.

The recipe calls for three breasts, but my lord the bone-in chicken breasts I got were massive! About 9" x 6" x 4", no exaggeration. I could only fit two in the pan and will have the leftover tomorrow. The benefit was I could simmer slowly and they turned out really moist. Sauce was a bit thin though. I'd reduce the wine deglazing until it's really thick, then add the cream and reduce more until thick again.

No clue: first day out of quarantine, doctors appointments and maybe happy hour late this pm depending on my leg. Right now I am thinking chicken wings and veggies; Will also pick up a Sam's order so everything is up in the air.

I didn't eat soup, I ate an artichoke and a few roasted brussel sprouts.

I am absolutely craving hot dogs, with onion, sauerkraut, tomatoes, pepperoncinis, and relish. We have white bread (it's keto) that will work just fine as a bun. Or maybe the previously planned soup!
