Not sure. I start my waitress job tonight. Its only 430-830 so I'll probably bring a protein drink and a protein bar to snack on. I'll eat before I go (bbq chicken breast)
Good luck with your new job!
A bowl of homemade tomato sauce, packed with beef/pork, for me. Lettuce with lemon-oil dressing later, if still hungry.
Sous vide pork butt seasoned for char siu, will glaze and char on the BBQ. Pickled carrots and radish, cilantro on bao buns.

It also would have been nmnitas birthday today. How greatly she is missed!
Tonight salmon curry with basmati rice, green chili raita and lemon water to drink. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.
Happy Birthday to both ladies!
It's still so hard to fathom nmnita's passing.....
Your meal sounds excellent Almarausch and thank you for reminding us about the birthdays!
That sounds & looks really good❗️One of the downsides of living in SW Virginia is that it’s very difficult to find broccoli-rabe and we do miss having it.
Thanks Rick! We find it hard to find broccoli rabe too in central Illinois. We get it but oh so rarely. We sub kale, spinach, chard, and beet tops for the rabe or rapini. Coincedentally, we actually have been very interested in relocating to SW Virginia!
Tonight's meal was vegan Goulash. Sorry no pic, was a bit hectic around here today. The goulash consisted of onion, garlic, mushrooms, a 1/2 lb of Beyond burger, a couple of home-smoked Beyond hot Italian links, tomatoes, carrot, S&P, basil, serrano pepper, oregano and whole wheat macaroni. Served with garlic bread and a glass of merlot to drink.
Cheers!
