My darling grandchildren and family just left. Gramps is driving them to the airport, and won’t be back for 4+ hours.

Still working my way through the pork roast, applesauce, mashed potatoes, carrots and a slice of toasted homemade whole wheat bread. It was a hearty meal for a cold evening! A glass of sauvignon blanc -- I usually drink pinot noir but I had to open the wine for a recipe so now finishing that off.
