Here in Greenville, SC I've seen one or two Alaska plates. I've seen hundreds of Michigan, New Jersey, Georgia, and North Carolina ones. California, Florida, and New York sometimes as well but <20
In Charleston, GA and NC plates are something you see at least 5 or 10 times a day. Kentucky is very big here, along with Ohio. I see those all the time. Surprisingly, I often see Iowa plates around here. I've seen California several times, and I've seen Alaska a couple times along with others.
I've seen alot of California, Florida, Alaska, Hawaii, Illinois plates in Texas, but the furthest one I've seen so far would be from Europe. Though I do see alot of foreign plates mostly from Mexico, and some from Canada.
I definitely notice plates when I'm driving, and I have a habit of reading bumper stickers too. I've seen plates from all 50 states in the Cincinnati-Dayton area, as well as the occasional foreign plate from Mexico or Europe.
It's almost impossible to go a day or two without seeing a California plate, and I've seen a few Oregon and Arizona plates also. By far, the most rare plate to come across is Hawaii. That's a once-a-year occurrence, if you're lucky.
