I saw all 50 States this year in Michigan. That would make the furthest Hawaii. Last year I saw a Maine plate parked next to a Hawaii plate downtown. Can't get much further than that.
I did see a couple European plates this year (one on a flipping RV... I would have hated to pay for that shipping bill), but didn't know for sure which Country over there they were from.
Sometimes those far out of state plates could just be rental cars. When we rented a car in while vacationing in texas it had north carolina plates on it.
I've seen plates from places abroad and the cars themselves have the steering wheel on other side.
