Relocating to southern US, need info

Yes I am and have been looking into how to move there, so I dont intend to just board a ship and waltz on into the US lol.

And Savannah has been recommended a few times, it definitely seems like a beautiful city, just got to research more about things like the employment rate and crime rates etc there. Also, I know Georgia rarely gets major hurricanes but I'm unsure if Savannah gets hit, but if they're very minor then it's not an issue

Savannah is somewhat protected from hurricanes since it sits in a bend along the coast from north Florida up to the GA/SC border. It's been a good while since it's experienced one.
