Not super knowledgeable on Bay Area rap but this one was always dope to me

That is a classic from Mistah Fab.

I was always deep into the Bay Area bag. Ever since I went to San Fran and heard this slapper on KMEL. That was Summer 2011.

I was heavy on the bay for like 5/6 years after this. This is also when I was into the RVIDER KLVN out of Miami..lol. Right before Boston started making our own scene.

Haha word the RAIDXR KLVN days. I shot one of Yung Simmies shows in SA back in 2015.

Found this on Youtube, got 2.4M views so idk how I've never seen it. But here's a mexican dude that has that Texas accent. Usually I'm not a fan of that music but this track goes hard. Sad that it seems like all the decent rappers here (or the street ones at least) end up getting killed.

Which one I put maddd people into young Simmie from 2011-2016. I can guess it’d be like Deep I The Game, Deadbeat, High Up, Shoot Da 3, Underdog or RE Up Money.

Where in Boston are they from?

If you told me a Philly rapper made this I would’ve believed you. I had to be that “guy” but everyone is starting to sound the same again.

7 years ago everyone wanted to sound like Atlanta, then Chicago and now NYC. We had that little grace period when everyone had their own identities.

The list for Atlanta is wayyyy longer that that. Really if a person doesn't know anything about Atlanta hip hop/rap then frankly they don't know about hip hop/rap period.
But I think Cardi B is from New York though.
