I've actually looked at different angle skyline shots a few minutes ago . If the Westin is to be twice of the height of the Dixie Building than it will at least be the height of the Guilford Building. Very exciting.
The top 3 levels are chained off. This is as high as I could go. The upper levels have fencing to prevent suicides (not noticeablefrom the ground). The top level has decorative black iron fencing.
I went to a Grasshoppers game a week or two ago now. I think opening night? It was opening night..
The stadium is gorgeous. The view from the stadium is stunning. I have really cool pics.
I have to say.. the stadium is the nicest AA or AAA stadium ive seen. It's extremely nice, and cheap.
The new Polar Park in Worcester MA that was just completed this month, .. well .. absolutely sucks. Greensboro blows a brand new AAA stadum that cost 3x as much to make.. to shreds. Greensboro really has something special here!
To boot, the beer is cheap. I cant drink beer cause fcking COVID made my smells and tastes all off... 12/10
Ashley Acquisitions LLC, managed by Marc Ashley, the president and chief operating officer of Greensboro-based Market America, purchased the former Preyer Brewing Co. at 600 Battleground Ave. for $1.8 million from Andy Zimmerman's AZ LLC.
Zimmerman, who had leased the property to Preyer, said the new owner plans to open a restaurant in the space, building out a world-class kitchen and a catering kitchen, and bringing in a chef from New York.
