There are several walls with graffiti on them. I was told through email that it will be cleaned up before full project completion. SCDOT will not accept the project from the contractor until it is cleaned up.
Most likely it will come back after clean up. I wonder how we can stop that? More cameras perhaps?

The best way to discourage grafitti, I hear, is to have it cleaned off within a day of being put up. Vandals cease to waste their time doing something that doesn't last.
There are at least two large graffiti areas still up on the interchange months later. As posted earlier someone said this is the responsibility of the contractor to clean it all up before the project is completed. But do we have to wait until then to have it cleaned off?

Every day this stays up it encourages more.
Where are they coming from? Those apartments on Roper Mtn Rd next to the interstate? That would be my guess.

Anyone know what the targeted completion date is for the project now? Possible the contractor is waiting until closer til the end to clean it up all at once.
