Taco Bell is not the best place to go for fast food, but it does have a popular following. Where is it going specifically?
Well it is about the only choice for quick serve Mexican fast food. Although some Hardee's locations have added Red Burrito. But it would be nice if they would open a Del Taco somewhere. Better quality. But nearest locations are now in Georgia after the Rock Hill store recently closed.

Taco Casa on N Pleasantburg is quite good.. I don't care for Taco Bell at all, but I include Taco Casa in my lunch rotation.
Also.. Noticed that some form of construction is happening at the old Meineke on Fairview in Simpsonville..

Taco Casa is great. Speaking of Mexican food. It looks like the Gringos Mexican Grill that opened in the Haywood Mall food court a while back has already closed.
There's no way that's an Ollie's going in that spot off Haywood. They just opened the one on Wade Hampton, and their business model doesn't support having two locations so close together.
I am not surprised to see Frodo's close. It was good in its original Cherrydale Point location. Its quality and service declined as prices increased.

Wade Hampton Boulevard and Haywood Road are distant enough to support two separate locations. The former T.J. Maxx in Haywood Plaza and former Lechmere's/Pharmor/Rhodes Furniture/Steve & Barry's in The Gallery can accomodate one. I do not know if Ollie's has considered additional sites in the Berea community or in Simpsonville.

I'm just going off what I heard. I could easily be wrong.

It is Ollie's. The one on Wade Hampton doesn't really serve the Golden Strip crowd. They should do well there.
