We had a Bunn which lasted over 10 years, when it failed we bought another which lasted about two months, then we went through various other brands to include Mr. Coffee, which failed after two or three months...
Then we bought a West Bend 54159 Classic Stainless-Steel 12-Cup Percolator (from Amazon), has made coffee at least once a day since we bought it in January 2014. I was wondering if I should buy another if/when this one fails.
I have a K-Cup and this am I made a large cup (I have 3 choices) and it filled my 16 oz cup to the tippy tippy top...and surprised it didn't run over. Lately, it is making a lot less than the amount it is suppose to make. I don't know if I should get another K-cup. This isn't the first time it has happened. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue and what kind of coffee maker do you have~?
I loved Keurig K-cup system until I was told they are non-recyclable. Tossed it and now use a Bodum french press with the assistance of an electric kettle. Takes longer but better tasting coffee.
my sister got that coffee bar thing that Sophia vegara advertises and it died already she took it back and got a percolator she is done with the mr coffees and crap and she is going with percs now and no more drip coffee makers .

The Bunn Commercial line of brewers still hold up very well long term. LINK: Amazon Robot Check
We just got a Kurig for Christmas, while to me buyivng the actual pods seems like a huge waste of money..
It did come with a reusable filter that works just fine with my on sale coffee of choice..
That varies of course but the is always a decent brand on sale in some store over the month..
The spouse has a Keurig but he doesn't really care for the quality of coffee it makes. I bought him one of the "Aeropress" coffee makers and he has been using it a month or so and really likes it - the Keurig has gone downstairs into storage for the time being.
I use an older Nespresso for my morning espresso - for some reason I can drink espresso but not regular coffee - and it is okay. But I really love the milk heater/frother accessory for it. Nespresso - aka Nestle, one of my least favorite corporations - has little recycling bags so you can collect the pods and send them back "to be recycled" although I doubt they actually recycle them, just throw them out on their end. What the heck, the bags are free and the shipping is free, so they have to at least pay for their greenwashing attempt.
When camping we use the little Italian Bialetti espresso pots - love those.
Cuisinart Brew Central. We've had it for about 5 years now. It makes pretty good coffee. You have to change the filter periodically, but other than that, it is trouble free. DH is wondering if the spout is beginning to leak. I'll have to check it out.
I'd actually like to upgrade to some sort of press coffee, but we drink so much of it, I think I'd be in the kitchen brewing coffee all day long.
