I think it's a safe assumption that In-N-Out Burger, for what ever reason they have, has no intention of ever locating a restaurant in Houston. Houston will somehow survive and the sun will come out tomorrow.

I have it on the same level as Mcdonalds, BK, and Jack in the box (3rd tier)...Mooyah, Five guys, Smash Burger (2nd. tier)...and of course In n Out as 1st. tier.
Five Guys is way overrated. Way to greasy and they seriously over do it on the seasoning.

SmashBurger is too damn expensive, and really bland. If Five Guys over does it on seasoning, Smashburger doesn't do enough.

Whataburger easily beats out th garbage that comes from MsDonalds and JITB.

Lol, nah they will be in Houston. They built a new distribution center in DFW for a reason. They aren't only going to expand in Texas either.

Shake Shack is predominantly in New York but you can find it in other cities such as Atlanta and Austin in the future. I don't know if Shake shack can be considered fast food as I see it as a tier above fast food. BUT that being said Shake Shack is far superior than In N Out and I'm a big fan of In N Out.

I ate at a Shake Shack in DC. It was the best undersized bacon cheeseburger/Coke Zero (no fries) combo for $10. Guess the rent's high there in Dupont Circle.

Whataburger and In-N-Out are equally bad. Why eat that when Houston is full if good burgers?
