Don't be. Apparently the virus will peter out on its own no matter what we do, short of applying HCQ/Zn- which is being hindered in order to get Trump out of office. There is no way of knowing that the slam down of the economy only stretches out the pandemic, although it does slow down the strain on the hospitals.

So that may be all we can do, regulate how many people are hospitalized and in the end the same number of people got infected no matter how we try to regulate. Unless the country realizes the bag of sh-- they've been handed with the media HCQ campaign.

Are you arguing that there is a media conspiracy to deride HCQ/Zn merely as an effort to get rid of Trump? That's weak thinking, given the inconclusive overall study results, and the number of studies that indicate HCQ causes more issues than it solves.

Where are you getting this info? There is NO legitimate scientific study that totally verifies this. The closest thing is the Ford study that says it MAY help under certain hospital conditions. And even that is disputed. Hopefully you understand that it's best to trust science over blogs and tik tok videos. And politicians.

Then how are these people going to learn? A certain subset of the population won’t learn or become part of the solution until it happens to them and these people are an example of that.

I never wished death on anyone, but if them getting sick will make them realize the gravity of the situation and stop being selfish about things like wearing masks and distancing, then yes I hope they get sick.

Most people with the virus don’t get violently sick. I’ve treated and transported at least a dozen coronavirus patients, and most of them didn’t even think they were sick. These patients were largely hemodynamically compromised and within the deadly age group, and they were 100% stable. Assessment completely unremarkable.

I’ve been through the covid wing in the local ICU and the patient load, while steady, is small. No one is even close to running out of vents, and believe me when I say that I’ve asked.

My partner at work had COVID, and he was able to slam a cheeseburger during all that. Didn’t taste a thing, but damn if that’s not impressive.

Point is, COVID is mostly bull****. It’s not fake, and you shouldn’t go into huge crowds rn, but it’s blown out of proportion by the media to cause panic.

They could die from covid or organs be damaged permanently.

Nice to hear this from somebody on the front line, I will still be cautious however since there are a lot of unknowns and deliberate mis-information in this war for the future of the world. I trust no one and believe nothing these days.

Nor should you! The MSM profits from misinformation and public suffering. Hopefully Houston can beat COVID-19 by years end, but I don’t trust the numbers the media is putting out.
