Was waiting for that "PUSH" of wind gust with this video, I think it started coming at the end. That's when you feel the true power, pretty sick when it happens at 90mph I cannot imagine 190mph!!

Look where that High Pressure is. SICK. If it was Southwest just 300 miles more Florida would of been devastated. How close can you get to a Cat 4-5. Wow

Why these stalling-along-the-coast hurricanes are becoming so common nowadays?

When was the last move through hurricane? Why do they always stall directly over land where they maintain their peak strength?

I was taught that hurricanes are supposed to lose strength when they encounter land. But that doesn't seem to happen anymore.

This buoy is just west of Freeport. That's about 100 miles west of Marsh Harbor. This buoy should start seeing trop storm force winds (39-74 mph = 45-85 kts) as the eye makes landfall, if wind predictions are correct. Trop storm force winds are supposed to be 105 miles from the eye.

Sunday 9/1:
11 am wind speed is 21 knots
12 pm wind speed is 23 knots

*Confirmed landfall at 12:40 pm in Abaco*

1 pm wind speed is 22 its

Immediate coast could still see Hurricane force winds there.

Tried many times but cannot find a live cam website for anything in the Bahamas. Anyone got one they know is working?

Thank you.

EDIT: Finally found one that's working: https://www.portnassauwebcam.com
EDIT: This cam is steady playing and has the sound of waves and wind.

And a continuing dropping pressure. Now 911mb. Will it get to 900mb? No real terrain to weaken it. Grand Bahamas is not a Cuba
