Anyone been down to the strip in the last day or two. Is it a ghost town (yet)?

Hopefully as the summer gets here this virus will behave like a virus and die down and by next virus season we have a vaccine in use.

There is way too much panic. It's not going to spread any more than the flu as it's transmitted the same way and with all this fear it will spread much much slower then the flu as there is unprecedented caution now that was never showed for the flu. This virus can be more serious for some. I'm 60 and certainly don't want it. I'll wash much more often, avoid close contact with strangers, and disinfect my surroundings more often. But I'll still shop daily and even visit the casinos.

I'm trying to show more caution and not more panic....trying.
I agree there's too much panic, but there wasn't enough panic at the start. Nothing was done early on and now it might be too late.

Where's your source that human testing is starting soon? I'd like to read up on that. From my understanding a vaccine won't come until at least the end of the year or later, there's the vaccine itself, clinical trials and manufacturing and distribution which all equate to > 1 year.

Just sounds like the anti-inflammatory properties ^ perhaps not an actual cure. I also think a an effective vaccine is > 1 year from now.

The original Sars virus that was out in 2002-03 never had a vaccine completed. I wonder why they didn't bother to make one for this?

I personally wouldn't even get that vaccine if they had it ready earlier.

Yeah, except it could save thousands of lives if it say, keeps the lungs from filling, so, it is very valuable.

So Las Vegans freaked out. There is hardly any food in any of the grocery stores.
