Meh... I know how they're raised. If you saw how most factory farm food was raised you probably wouldn't eat it.

Most of the people going to Costco/Walmart are not wearing masks nor are they keeping 6 feet away from others (as of two days ago. Maybe the situation has changed now)

I'm not seeing much of these either, including cashiers not wearing gloves and customers standing around chatting witn them like it was any other day. Also noticed a cashier licking her finger to get the bags open which is just absolutely disgusting regardless.

Yep, Costco, Trader Joes, CVS, etc - maybe half of them are wearing masks in NYC. On top of that, the subway service has been slashed and more people are commuting in packed trains wearing no masks.

Cant find masks for people to wear anyway.

My husband is the one that goes out if needed. He said people are terrible about keeping distance. People stand so close they might as well ask for a piggyback ride.

Oh heck no you should have to called her out on that. Rather people have bare hands so they wash/sanitize often. With gloves how often are they doing that? Are people just going around with that one raggedy pair of gloves touching everything? When you wear gloves you wash before putting them on, taking them off, change gloves/wash hands when switching tasks, etc.

I went to the grocery store yesterday. I would estimate around 20% of people were wearing masks, mostly seniors. I went to Sprouts and they were wiping down the entire checkout station and PIN pad between customers. I also went to Smith's and they were not doing that. Both stores were sanitizing carts. They had removed the sanitizing wipes at the front.

It wasn't that busy (pretty typical) at either store. I found people were generally giving space. Both stores had the checkout lines marked on the floor with tape to indicate spacing and people were all observing it.

The stores were decently stocked. Lots of produce, lots of bread, freezer section looked good, lots of milk. Zero butter. Limited eggs (expensive organic or pasture raised only). Plenty of meat, but possibly not the selections people would want as their first choice. No ground beef, except frozen hamburger patties. They did have ground turkey, frozen turkeys, leg of lamb, etc. No paper products.
