Just back from a groovy day at Boulder Beach.
First time in almost 2 weeks I think.
Monsoon season is nice for cooler temps, but horrible for relaxing at the lake.
Gonna have a grilled swordfish sammich tomorrow as opposed to the crappy left over chicken I had today.

Anyone heard from Von949 lately? I'm sure I'm being completely irrational but I just read in the paper today that someone from Nellis AFB and living in NLV was killed on a motorcycle yesterday...for some reason his name popped into my head. I'm probably WAY off, but that's the vision I have of him ;-)

Von, please say you're okay ;-)

I am trying an experiment tomorrow, I will be flying in and will not have a car or anyone to pick me up at the airport. Just me and my feet or bus will get me to my house all the way on the west side. Think I can?
I have a car in my garage, I will just need to figure out how to get it started. LOL

Admiring such bold experiments I suggest you consider that there are two easily accessible ways to the west side...

http://www.rtcsnv.com/transit/route/...(05-20-12).pdf

That will get you to the Westcliff park and ride at Westcliff and Durango or to the Sun Coast.

or...

http://www.rtcsnv.com/transit/route/...(05-20-12).pdf

The centennial park and ride center

Note that you have to take the regular bus or the Westcliff one to the Bonneville Center to transfer to the Centennial Hills bus.

Cars left long periods in garages are much more likely to start if left on a light duty charger...
