The Springs Preserve thing looks like it was a good time. I've only been there once, but spent most of the day. I liked it.

Unfortunately, the current theme was " The Scoop on Poop" No, I ***** you not.

Coprolites are the best kind. They don't smell.

Just one of the things I like about the Golden Corral buffet is that the chef's come out and replace even little things like green beans before they get nasty. We used to love going to the one in Safford, AZ. Yummy!

YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE ISSUE that bothered me is the whole parking situation at the GN.
When we arrived at the golden nugget, we proceeded to the parking garage.
guy in suit " I need to see your room key"
us " uh, we haven't checked in yet"
guy in suit " well you need a hotel key for free parking or we are going to charge you for parking, CRAZY STUFF.

Thats reversed when you actually check in ....Valet parking does NOT charge it's done at the desk or upon departure if you dont have the a VIP pass ......snot a big deal, it's to keep the garage open for guests of the hotel .

I had no issues at 4Q, even though I was arriving about 90 minutes before the free Bret Michaels show at the 3rd Street stage. I pulled up to the valet and they said "For guests only." I said "I'm checking in" and they welcomed me warmly.

YUMMY Times 2

Golden Corral, Seattle Seahawks victories, Seattle Sonics victories (OK, we no longer have the Sonics, but a nice fellow named Chris Hansen, who, like me, had a wonderful Dad who took him to Sonics' games when he was but a wee lad and is working hard ta bring the boys back ta town) and some loud Foghat, Guess Who, Tragically Hip and Drive-By Truckers to enjoy with a tall Coca-Cola Classic pop.

Oh, throw in some home-popped popcorn with the Presto-Pop home popper. All ya do is pour your own popcorn kernels in the bottom with a Presto-Pop paper piece in the bottom of the Presto-Pop container. I like ta pop mine up in the microwave then spray some Canola Oil on it. Then add some vigorous tossing of sea salt. It tastes better than movie theater (yer favorite movie theater buttered popcorn) popcorn. The cool thing is that it doesn't have any polyunsaturated fats in it to clog up yer arteries, friends.

You can find Presto-Poppers at yer neighborhood Wal*Mart stores.
