I did and was told they would not help me if I did not put one on. So they gave me one. I had no choice because I was depositing money in the bank for my boss. I did not want to cause a problem and have them call security.

New York State: Masks will be 'strongly encouraged but not required' in schools

New York State on Friday lifted an order that students in schools must wear masks indoors, as officials waded into a hotly contested issue regarding COVID-19 safeguards.

State Health Commissioner Howard Zucker, in a letter to the head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said "as a minimum state-wide guidance" schools do not have to make vaccinated or unvaccinated students wear face masks while indoors, though it is "strongly encouraged" for those who have not completed their vaccinations for COVID-19.

The new order also applies to summer camps, and goes into effect Monday.

Went out to eat Friday and the place was packed, the bar crowded and a line out the door. Besides the wait staff there were very, very few masks being worn.
Even I’m surprised at how many people are ditching the mask this quickly.

At Wendy's hey still require a mask even if vaccinated. I walked in without one and after she rung me up then she asked where my mask was. I said I don't have it but I am vaccinated. She said corporate has not lifted the mask mandate yet. I said oh well then she said no problem have a nice day.

I went to Wendy's in Riverhead. No mask. On the door was a sign that said employees without masks have provided proof of vaccination.

The only place I've worn a mask in the last few weeks was a doctor's office.

The schools just did a last min 180 degree spin! They are now back to requiring masks in class and on busses! I guess now they are not following CDC guidelines?

And now you wonder why everyone is sick of this crap!!
