18 pages of the same 5 cranks cutting and pasting hourly in real time for over a year. It's exhausting. Most stopped caring or replying long ago or there'd be 90 pages of self-serving dreck by now.
Basically, vaxxing is an honor system. I've seen this past year how honorable my fellows can be. Am I to trust Qanon'ers and the flotilla brigade shmucks from Massapequa to Patchogue to get vaxxed and/or ever do the right thing for their community? Hellz no. Thus, I'll keep masking. My anti-vax/anti-mask pals who spouted off on FB for months are the poster children for stupid. The 8th grader brought it home last week. They are now all on quarantine, 2 of the 4 (one kid, one adult) are sick w/ symptoms, the other 2 not so far. Nice life. Whatever principle they were clinging to, well played. Ignorance ain't bliss and thx for screwing over all the kid's friends and families who now have to quarantine, as well as for spreading it to more unvaccinated 'patriots'.
You really need to watch something other than CNN and MSNBC.
Funny (and I mean interesting, not ha-ha funny), on Sunday, I went to our local Key Foods, a sign at the entrance stated the fully vaccinated didn't need to wear masks...I was ecstatic and immediately ripped mine off. I would estimate it was about 50-50 masked vs unmasked.
My wife was surprised and said our local King Kullen was still requiring masks. Well today, I went to KK to pick up a couple of things and noticed the previous sign at the front door that said masks were required was gone, so once again I ripped my mask off, but as far as I could tell, I was the only one without a mask, I doubt I was the only one in the store who had been vaccinated.
I've been watching people riding alone in their cars, walking their dogs, alone on sidewalks with masks on, reporters outside by themselves on TV wearing masks. My reaction is not one of condemnation, but of concern. Our society has been decimated not just by the virus, but what it has done to our lifestyle, especially to our children - the long-term psychological effects yet to be realized.
One thing we should all be adamant about is finding the TRUE source/reason for this outbreak that has effected every nation in our world...if not, it will happen again.

Yes.
One would imagine that folks are VERY concerned that the Wuhan Lab remains open and continues to handle the world’s most dangerous coronaviruses.

Out of the hundreds of shoppers there, it was only me and two other elderly dudes who did not wear masks. 99% still masked up.
No one gave me any funny looks, and I was wearing my scrubs.
Went to the Home Depot down the street later. No mask signs, but the door greeter was still telling everyone to put on their masks.
An elderly white dude told him to go beat it since he was vaccinated. Door greeter didn't say anything back. I comply with the mask nazis so I put it on for theater, not science (I'm vaccinated).
Everyone who wanted to get vaccinated is at this point. They have a surplus of of it now. That's the reason the mask mandate was lifted. We have a nation of idiots refusing to get it. That is their choice, you cant force them. But don't penalize me for their dumbness. Time to get on with with life.

Vaccinations are still climbing. The reason for the surplus of vaccines now is obvious and not an indication that people have stopped wanting it.
Point remains - there's no reason to lift the mask mandate (as requested weeks back) when vax numbers are still climbing and have not yet reached an overwhelming majority. It's only a matter of a short amount of time. Yet people screaming for unmasking can't stand not having control of it on their own. We have movements to "unmask the kids" right now FFS. You've gone this long, yet NOW you have to start pushing rallies because you've decided enough is enough? How about some sense before "mah freedums!".
I don't mask whenever possible (including sports with other adults). I have immunosuppression but I'm not scared any longer. But this constant "then all of you who still want masks can stay home" is so ignorant.

^^^^Seems that you're the only one screaming about not having "control".

It would not surprise me if people start tackling other people and ripping their mask off.
