A better question is would you rather get Covid or the flu?

It's about keeping people safe. And also, why can't they make jury duty optional? Forcing people to serve now with Covid still out there is not ideal. There are plenty of people out there that would love to get paid $40/day to serve and don't mind risking their lives. So why force the immunocompromised or those with underlying conditions?

No, it's not. Stop saying that. Didn't you read the post from wp169 about a businesswoman he/she is friendly that said her mom just tested positive for Covid? Are you really just going to dismiss that?

it has mutated so far from what is was i don’t even give it a thought anymore then i would the flu

Just protect yourself from covid carriers (known and unknown by them) by wearing a mask. If I hear of any other covid hospitalizations in NY in addition to the one I heard about yesterday I'll post the info here.

I know one poster on CD who lives in my county and tested positive for covid but went out anyway (unmasked) feeling fine, but that person could have infected someone else who may have gotten seriously ill or died.

Additionally, with all the migrants New York is bringing in, who knows what covid variants they have and what other illnesses they might be spreading around, and of course, we wouldn't be told the truth.

South Florida. My friend who is 80 but is trying to look 40 years younger has had covid three times. He's had all the shots. It brought out all the body damage from years before and he feels like an old man on the inside. I took care of him and I didn't catch it.

Based on my experience, I will take covid over any flu I ever had. It was a piece of cake. Just tired for a month. No puking, one day fever, couple days of minimal appetite. I vote for covid.
