I never liked Clooney until O Brother Where Art Thou. I thought he was amazing in Syriana, totally deserved that Oscar.

Al has gotten progressively worse as he ages. He's become the character that everyone, especially Kevin Spacey, imitates to a tee.

Keanu Reeves was born to play Neo. Other than that, totally overrated.

Yeah, it's a totally subjective thing. I'm reading some of these going "Are you crazy....he/she is great" but then again, I loved "Twister" too!

i think a lot of the names listed are just bad actors. dont they have to be well acclaimed (like Paccino) to be considerred "over-rated"?

Yes but he's one of the ones I really like. Jack Nicholson, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Tom Hanks, John Travolta, etc are others. Love them all. But others hate them. On the other hand, I don't get the American facination with British actors and them getting nominated for so much.

Jack Nicholson is actually a good choice for "over-rated actors". but J Lo, and Keaneua Reeves? they're just bad. they're not over-rated.

Exactly - do you hear anyone praising Keanu Reeves or Jennifer Lopez for their acting ability? Jennifer Lopez is Madonna - both are dancers who make terrible movies.
Maybe Keanu can do a decent or slightly unembarassing job, but that's about it.
I am going to nominate Nicolas Cage, who has already been mentioned.

Really? Good as Neo?

Three words: I KNOW KUNG-FU. Those lines, along with that blank gaze, proved that Neo was just another "excellent adventure" for Reeves.

He was good in his role in My Own Private Idaho. Other than that, all of his $$ was made by looking cute.

George Clooney is one of the worst. How'd he get so popular anyways? All of the sudden it seems everyone in Hollywood runs to him to take charge of the paparazi, global warming, now the writers strike. Why and how did he become the "know it all" of everything? Is he "the great and powerful oz"? lol "pay no mind to that man behind the curtain".
