It's the same crap as everywhere else:
  • Last 6 consecutive paystubs
  • 2016 (or now 2017) W2 and Tax Returns
  • 2016 (or now 2017) 1099 Forms
  • Copy of your last 6 checkings bank statements - all pages
  • Copy of most recent savings bank statement - all pages
  • Copy of your last municipal credit union statement - all pages
  • Copy of investments - 401K, 403B, Mutual Funds, CD's, pensions, money market, life insurance policies, personal property, trust funds - all pages
  • Section 8 - if applicable - copy of voucher
  • Child support or alimony payments - notarized letter from whomever is giving you this income
  • Other letters from other income - SSI, Disability, Proof of family support, etc.
  • Housing - Updated and current copy of your lease signed by you and your landlord
  • Copies of rent receipts, along with three months of electric and telephone bills with your name matching the address of your current housing
  • Copy of birth certificates and drivers license or State ID for each household member
  • Official transcripts for students in college and all school registration for students. Transcripts should show grades.
  • $25 dollar money order for a credit/ background check for families of single household or a $50 money order for a family of two or more

Don't be surprised if they follow up on more items. For me, they asked me for a copy of my divorce certificate from back in 2009, and also a copy of my PayPal account (as my itemized bank statements depicted an Uber transfer from PayPal. Once the management company saw PayPal, they were all over that like white on rice).

The process is super invasive.

I can’t answer that for you. Best to contact the agent if you get a interview
