Shoot, until I have the keys in my hand, that apartment is still up for grabs

lol - nah, correction, 3mths to HDC, the fastest was the person whom got everything done in 1mth on this thread. but damn, were you on waiting list for 1bed rm or no? but i guess different bands different availability. there's only 3 bands for this development. i wouldn't mind taking a 7mth deal for a 1bd rm tho..if wait list included..LOL

Guys, I went to look at an apt at 535 Carlton yesterday, while it may be subjective there is no comparison.

I was shown 2 different layouts, one on the 7th floor and another layout on the 14th and 16th floor (these layouts were the same, 536 sq ft. but bigger than the 7th floor layout which I think was less than 500 sq ft). The finishing at Carlton are no doubt nicer but there is a monster AC/Heater unit that takes up way too much space - a bit of an eyesore.

Based on sq ft it sounds like the Carlton studio is bigger but it did not feel that way, not sure if it is because Ashland is a two room studio.

Amenities are $30 a month, cheaper than Ashland but you definitely get a lot less too. There is a community garden, a gym, it felt super tiny especially compared to Ashland and a party room.

This just confirms how much I want Ashland especially given that the studio at Ashland is less $$ but you also get more in terms of amenities, at Carlton the amenities felt non existent.

Not sure I will submit an application but still pondering.

I will say - Rachel who gave me the tour of Carlton was super nice, she works in the management office - she is also going to be doing 38th Sixth
