I do think it's worth again noting that as of 11/13/16 "461 Dean has a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) for some half of the building"

Atlantic Yards/Pacific Park Report: 461 Dean: a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy for some half of the building, plus unpaid $25K fine

From what I can tell by reading the TCO's is that it's cleared through about the 19th floor. Market rate and affordable housing are scattered throughout the entire building so MY GUESS ONLY would be no specific groups CB pref/no pref have been completely maxed out yet.
This is my point exactly. As all the floors open up, they obtain more apartments to view/for walk through.

I think CB preffed applicants are already picked out though. But that's just my assumption. I by no means, have concrete proof of this. Its not like these people are going in to see mock ups, they've been walked through the actual apartments.

I'll disagree with you on your CB Pref assumption because I'm CB pref log# 1XX and interviewed one of the first days in August and have not been rejected or wait-listed. And like all of us, I want to remain hopeful.

That's what I mean though, No news is good news (I think this is the only 100% for sure thing they've said to any of us as they flip flop around about everything else). Until those apartments open up for viewing you're in the clear.

One thing is for sure, they're not interviewing for CB preference applicants anymore. I think you can rest easy right now as safely to assume that they're just waiting to show you your awarded unit. Considering you weren't in the group that received waiting list mail.

OH. I understand what you're saying now! I thought you meant CB Pref was all booked for the entire building. haha Sorry!

Haven't been on here in a while, but my appeal was approved and I was shown an apartment about a month ago. I was told my documents were being sent out, but I still haven't heard back. Has anybody been called in to sign a lease yet?

I am in the same situation but have not been called yet. I know that we will hear from MHANY when we get city approval and then the owners will call us to sign a lease

I have a strong suspicion, based on what I was told last week during my appeal, and ongoing interactions I've had since, that they are compiling a lot of applications to push out the door to HDC very soon - e.g., end of this week/beginning of next week. I think it's possible they've been holding a lot back til the building was ready, and now that it (mostly) is, plus the added pressure of 535 Carlton underway, they're moving forward.
