Anyone who has submitted paperwork... what did you have to submit as far as 401k?

I didn't apply for this lottery (meant to but forgot about it and missed the cutoff), but they'll ask for at least the most recent statement -- they might ask for three to six months of statements. Remember that as a retirement account if does not count in the asset cap, so if it's high, don't worry about it. It is part of the asset total that is multiplied by 0.06% and added to your income, though. I keep making this point about the retirement exclusion, because I find many of the marketing agents are ignorant of that fact. Good luck.

Yeah, what I'm concerned about though is whether they will add any money contributed to your 401k (by your employer, if they match or whatever) as income. I've been in the dark about this for about a year, lol... nobody seems to know.

I think the city might just bend the rules for them. They seem very intent on giving the homeless these luxury apartments. btw, what do you mean by "nonstop bank verification"? haha

You're overanalyzing the 401k--they're just looking at the amount that's in it--that's all they care about. They in no way add your employer's contribution as income, as if they could even figure that out! They look at the sum total, just the way they look at a savings account, and that's it. I promise.

Thanks so much! Still submitting more paperwork as they request it. Hopefully I will go in to sign paperwork that will be sent off soon.

It's movement at least. I can be happy about that.

Specific info on transactions in the updated statements we sent. Descriptions of deposits basically. My husband is self employed so he gets payments from multiple clients throughout the year.
