August 10th counts as mid-August, right? Dying over here.

I actually have my mind off this for once. I'm going to South Carolina to see the eclipse next week and I'm trying to figure out how to avoid clouds and thunderstorms... I don't want to drive 12 hours just for clouds.

If I had to bet I would say the week of the 21st.

I am thinking next week as mid August. I just returned from Cuba and as hard as it may be I appreciate the politics in the USA. Here's to August.

Wishful thinking that BG is preparing list to reach out next week. Get ready, time is drawing near. The email said that if you had been interviewed and accepted your file will be sent to compliance and then you will be called in to sign off. Once HPD signs off you will view apt and then lease signing. I am just not sure of the additional documents that may need to be submitted. I feel that move ins will be October..

I don't understand why they are making us wait until HPD approves us to view the apartments. There is no reason why they can't let us view the apts before sending file to HPD. What if we don't like them? They will have wasted a lot of time.

I agree. Also, in most lotteries they do a home visit, that doesn't seem to be on their plan.

I guess they want to make sure you are eligible and approved before viewing.

Home visits were banned by the city in October 2016.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at BG. I plan to go to see the building over the weekend.

They better be preparing a list to reach out! I know I'll need to update my documents. ugh. I worry about that taking a long time for them to review. I assume this will be updated paystubs as well as redoing the asset verification, landlord verification, and employment verification, right? If it were just paystubs I'd be less worried, but getting those documents mailed by various parties and trusting BG to collect everything in a file as they receive them makes me nervous.
