Received a $50 refund yesterday from K&R. Just a check, no letter explaining why.

Did you ask for a refund? What was your AMI/Lot#? Have you reached out for an explanation?

Looks like even if someone got their credit/background checks done & everything is perfect, there is still a possibility that s/he won't get an apartment.

Hey all- I dropped out of the process before my credit and background check was run and asked Alvista for the $50 refund and they said the credit and background fee is non-refundable. I know that's bull**** because they told me several times they would give it back if my application wasn't processed when I interviewed.

Have any of you experienced this?

I want to report them, has anyone done this, have any tips.

They're so shady and I'm so fed up with them playing games with all of us.
