CB = Community Board preference. A lot of lotteries set aside 50% of the units in their development for folks that currently live in the same CB as the new development. The Carolina is located in CB 11. I currently also live in CB11 so i received CB preference. People who are Municipal Employees (ME), have a disability, or CB preference are called first before the rest of the applicants with no preferences.

Any1 else having issues with West apts? My stove won’t turn on, etc. Got my keys today. My counter top has drilled holes, my bathroom is missing cabinet handles etc etc
That's concerning. Did you have a chance to see the apt and tell them before signing the lease? Is there a way to delay the signature until all's repaired?

I saw it beforehand and all they said is “don’t worry it’ll be done b4 you move in” but Bc the lease is virtual. No real evidence and I didn’t push it.
I did send a few emails, texts and voicemail reminding them. Update: Stove was turned on @8:30pm but I really wish I had bathroom cabinet handles lol.

Well I have this little mice running around so I set up some traps.
Floors was very dirty.
The refrigerator has some scuff marks, top door wasn’t closing properly a few more to name.
This building was a rushed job due to covid but overall it’s sloppy.

Mice?! In a newly constructed building?! That's crazy! Looks like I'll be calling an exterminator before I move in!
