Thanks for the pics ElBarrio! It's coming together nicely, they need to hurry up and move in that gym equipment! Lol By the way, have you, or anyone else on this board that signed their lease, been asked to provide a money order for the background check? C just told me to bring that when I bring the 1st month's rent and security deposit. It's not an issue, but I'm wondering if anyone else was told that as well because my housing agent never told me that there'd be a fee.

I think this system is rigged and leaves you hopeless. I have been on housing connect for many years and only had 1 interview and didn’t get pass the first phrase because of my income being too high but my income for this was precisely calculated and still not anywhere. Congrats to everyone who has won an apartment hope all is enjoying their space and the building.

I signed my lease. I pick up my keys Monday. I was told to bring $16 money order for background check that was done and 1st month rent and security to get keys.

There's a laundromat on 110th and Park if you're in a pinch before the machines arrive. I figured that's our best bet since our entrance is on Park avenue, just a short 2 block walk up the avenue.

LLANOE412 has both CB and ME preference and moved in to the East building back in August. Since everyone that has moved in or signed leases already have CB preference, I think that's where they are now. It could be that they haven't started processing folks with just ME preference just yet since they process CB and Disability before ME. Try contacting C&C and ask to speak to someone who's handling the Carolina applications so that you can check on your status. Good luck!

There’s also one on 108 st and Lex and 106 st and Lex. I’ve used the 106 st many times. It gets crowded.

Good to know; thanks for the tip! Will check them out when the time comes, if need be. I'll be working remotely from home until at least the end of January 2021 so it'll be easy for me to go to an outside laundromat in the morning on a week day when people are at work. Shouldn't be so crowded then!
