I was recently contacted on 10/6 via email to submit documentation for further processing. This is the first time they have reached out to me. I have submitted everything as of 10/9 via email and I really hope to hear from them soon. The forms sent over to me did not indicate east or west. It simply just said "Your application for an apartment at: 1465 Park Avenue & 128 East 108th Street, East Harlem, NY has been selected for further processing. ".
Can anyone guide me as to what the next steps may look like for me? I do not have any preference yet have a low log number of 4xx.

Once you submit all of your paperwork they will review it to see if you are a candidate then they may ask for more paper to make sure that your income hasn’t changed once every look good they may call you to View an apartment but just keep in mind they will ask for paperwork every minute lol that’s the part I hate cause they don’t give you Enough time so it like you have to always be one step ahead of them it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year before you actually move in I start in March and we are now in oct and I haven’t move in as yet because they have to send paperwork to hpd and I’m not sure how long that take
Any idea on what other paper work they make ask for just so I can have it ready? The process sounds long so patience will definitely be needed.

(stocks), Paystubs, proof of address, you will then have to choose if you want to do a credit check or present rent receipts, background check, if you have any kids proof they are enrolled in school, proof of address, cash app or paypal forms, tax forms
Thank you! Just wanted to be sure as those are all documents I can provide easily if need be. I already submitted bank statements, pay stubs, proof of address and tax forms yet I am expecting them to ask for more.

Thank you for this info. So they don’t run your credit if you present the rent receipts and if you chose let them run your credit what are they looking for ?? One interview I went to for a building with wavecrest the lady told me that if you don’t have debt more than 5k you should be good. Is this true or it’s other things that they like for ?!?!
They ask for one year of rent history!!! Make sure all doc are updated cause they will definitely tell you that and u don’t want the stress plus 6 months of bank statements birth certificate and a
Social Security card for all who will be living with u make sure you keep all emails so they can’t say you didn’t provide the information they ask For

I’m not to sure about the amount for each development have a different debt amount

My agent was very helpful. Mainly you can't have more that $3,000 in collections. No Rental Evictions or housing court. Only thing they really care about
Hi all,
Just an update... I received an email today for C+C Apartment Management letting me know that my submitted documents were received and that although I qualify for a studio or 1 bedroom in the 90% range they have no more available units. They did ask if I wished to be placed on a waitlist to let them know my desired choice so I would be put on a waiting list. It is extremely discouraging yet it is what it is.
