Also, I’m kind of worried about the pricing. I applied because of the price range they gave at first, but from what I see the prices are much higher than what I expecting. I don’t understand what is the point of the income at this point.
Not yet, just waiting and, to add to your query. Has anyone accepted a Two bedroom apartment yet? Obviously there have been several One bedroom winners and, I've seen at least one Three bedroom but, don't think I have seen any Two bedroom winners yet. At least not here yet.

Not yet for me either. But I did receive one of those disqualification emails today. I almost had a heart attack - and then I saw it was for submitting my documents late, which I didn't, and I know this happened to other people here. I called and actually got through. She checked my file and told me it was a mistake and to disregard the email. I asked for a confirmation email but she assured me that phone call was enough. But I feel uneasy, as I have no proof that I had this conversation. I'm debating sending the appeal anyway (which is just a letter explaining and a screenshot of the submission), but I don't want to **** anyone off.

If you think it's in good faith, I would reply to the email and mention the date/time/contact/details of the call. Then you'll get their auto reply to confirm receipt.

I think Sunnyand50's advice is good; it would be good to have something in writing just in case. I'd also add, try not to worry if you don't hear anything for a long time after this! I got a (wrongful) disqualification email for not submitting my documents and appealed at the end of July, and I finally received an email confirming that my documents were received and currently under review two weeks ago--so it took almost a full three months.

It's been radio silence again for me since I got that email two weeks ago--if anyone has any info on the timeline from when they first heard their file was being reviewed to when they were offered an apartment, I'd be interested to hear! I've been refreshing my email inbox nonstop...

Maybe I’m cynical, but I find it hard to believe that a lottery run by a major corporation could STILL be mistakenly sending out emails telling people they were disqualified. Maybe Blackstone wants people to meekly accept they’ve been disqualified? I mean, how could this still be happening?

It's pretty ridiculous, I agree. If they're not going to admit to it in writing, I think I'd file an appeal, just to have it formally documented.

Thanks - I submitted an email - makes me feel better.

I think I saw someone write here that the reason the 1 bedrooms are on hold is because of supply chain issues, but I'm not sure if this was an assumption or if it was confirmed. Just curious, since I'm of those people on hold. I was wondering if there are literally no 1 bedrooms available or if they're taking a long time to be renovated.

Any one get called for a 2 bedroom yet ? I resubmitted documents last week. I called to confirm that the documents were received, housing specialist confirmed she also told me verbally another applicant and I should've been in since August. last Tuesday I got an email letting me know all my documents were updated. I originally submitted documents in july she let me know I was resubmitting because my original submission expired. 10/28 I was asked to submit bank statements and paystubs from june-september , last 4 stubs

I'm with you Akeita! I got the email last week about no 1 bedrooms available and, responded immediately that I was interested in the 2 bedroom. I asked this question to this board/thread last week but, no responses yet. Hopefully they'll start moving on them soon. I t would be nice to move in before the end of the year. I have plenty of days I need to burn off, so timing is everything!
