Who 'forced' them to come to NYC? I have a home and a job here. If I moved to St. Tropez, I would likely not have a job and would be homeless pretty quickly. I wouldn't exactly say I was 'forced to be homeless.'
But not the proper time to be talking about that. Terrible for this poor man and his family.

Agreed. And also horrible for the motorman and everyone else on the train and in the station. This piece in The Daily News describes the trauma suffered by them all.
"The subway motorman hit the brakes when he saw the doomed man “flying in the air” right in front of his windshield — and closed his eyes as the D train hit him.
Then, he broke down and cried."
The poor motorman has killed 2 people with his train now in the last year. The other person was a suicide that jumped in front of his train at 72nd St.
Needless to say,he is quite traumatized and counting the days to retirement.Personally,I think they should give him an early retirement.
The police say they are close to tracking down the person of interest (the one in the video). I am guessing what this means is they know who he is but don't know where to find him?

It's time to have cameras in every entrance and exit of every subway station. Too many animals live in NYC and we need to ensure that we can identify and catch the animals behind this.

There's cameras in my train station.

News:
"Police have identified the suspect as a 34-year-old Bronx resident with more than 30 prior arrests on charges of robbery, assault, and drugs.
His most recent arrest came on Sunday, Nov. 9, for allegedly pickpocketing in Midtown Manhattan."
They caught the guy. Lock him up and throw away the key.
And btw, he was also the assailant in another subway-shove incident in Manhattan at W 4th Street earlier in November, in which he pushed an Asian man to the ground. That victim luckily walked away with just a small injury.
So much for trying to improve race relations between blacks and Asians. I know blacks would still condemns this as isolated but it's hard for immigrant victims to not identify blacks as suspects.
