You are misinformed; there is no restriction on European immigration. Anyone can come here on a visa or VWP and marry someone.

Dominicans in nyc have always been like this. Look at Washington Heights. Not sure whats your point?
Go to chinatown and you will see the exact same thing. They dont learn english, stick to their own, rent only to asians and open businesses just for them.
Welcome to NYC

Welcome to NYC
There are plenty of Chinese and Dominicans who speak English, and essentially anyone who grows up and goes to school here is educated primarily in English.

But of course it's standard game for certain idiot white people to walk past a neighborhood and declare themselves the all knowing experts on the neighborhood they just walked by, without having any actual knowledge of what goes on in the neighborhood. And this is coming from someone who grew up in an immigrant neighborhood.

I honestly can't tell the difference between PR or DR in ny unless they've got a flag hanging out of their window or painted on their lowrider. I just hate the loud reggaeton crap.

Has anyone played GTA 4? There was a Dominican woman that drives a car known as voodoo, it was pink color. Similar to what the Jamaicans and Haitians drove in previous GTAS. I drove that car around the ficitional Bronx.

Well I wouldnt say the look that much different. I mean they have the same exact ancestry: white (mostly Canarian/southern Spain, some French too), black (mostly West African, some Central African/Kongo) , and indigenous/Taino, though the average Puerto Rican is slightly whiter and average Dominican slightly blacker. They both heavily mulatto/triracial ethnic groups. Despite all this, there's significant overlap in appearance, its extremely common to see Dominicans who actually look like the stereotypical Puerto Rican and vice versa. Comparatively, its rare to find a Caribbean Hispanic who looks anything remotely like a Mexican.
