No, more like protecting himself since that mathjack poster keeps telling us that the police aren’t going to do that for you.
And what’s up with you and tiddays?
LOL.. you don't even know how this dumb argument started.. Two grown "men" who could not use words to diffuse an issue or just walk away. Even in martial arts they state that the best self defense is to just walk away.
The guy with his tiddays out should have calmed himself once the homeless dude pulled out the knife.

Could’ve, should’ve, would’ve. It’s easy to say that when you are not involved but in the heat of an argument, you have pride and manhood to protect and it’s hard to back down and look weak. I am not saying it is right but I also can understand his point of view.

Look weak? Well, now he is dead.
Why would your pride and manhood be at stake arguing with a homeless person? That is little boy talk. Now tidday-man has left his immediate family to fend for themselves. Where is the pride and manhood in that?
People need to realize that at the end of the day; no one is going to pay your bills, put food on your table, put a roof over your head and do basic hygiene on you but YOU. A random person isn't going to do it so about 98% of all arguments are baseless.
Taking your shirt off in a fight is the dumbest move you can do. Also, if someone flashes a knife or gun it's best to start de-escalating or running fast.

He should have. Even if he himself had a knife, there are no winners in a knife fight. The loser often dies in the street and the winner in the ambulance. Shirtless man was probably doubtful the other man would use the knife. One stab is all it takes.

Looks like he got stabbed in the upper left side of his back.
The New York Post now has a comments area at the bottom of each story. It looks like they allow a broad spectrum of thoughts posted there too, it is okay to be upset and to have common sense.
